My mate had 3 rods out on a famous carp fishery the other day, even though he had just one licence, lo and behold he spotted EA officer looking at his rods coming straight towards him. Too late to pull a rod in, he said to his chum "keep him talking" and dived in his bivvy, got the internet up on his phone and paid for another licence. Jumped out of his bivvy and the officer asked him to produce two licences so he showed him one and told him to check for the other which he said he'd bought the night before.
The EA guy said he can and will check, he strolled off making phone calls but never returned.
I think they call that superblag ?

In reply to Post #61 Like I say lads i've been fishing most of my life and I have never been asked to produce my license once, obviously must check certain areas more than others.
P.S. Hoping to retire up scotland eventually rich.

In reply to Post #60 I've been fishin for nearly a year and had my licence checked about 7 times. they check the glacials i fish and they also check the local club waters i fish. once we even got checked by 4 police officers, 3 EA Bailiffs and a tv crew. they are on the ball up here at least!!!

as allways the e.a will be out at the start of the season over the weekend i am betting, but i won.t see them again untill the last week of the season.this has only happened in the last two years, before that that i think it was about 7 years since i had it checked
