In reply to Post #1000 the cd rig the uptrace is needed on this as the float lead combo leads. the hook trace is in reality shorter and the lead link longer

the weak link is tied off the top treble so you can use plain old deadbait traces if needs be
in this the bright orange braid is the 'wire' and no i dont use 3/0 hooks and optimium baits on them

In reply to Post #9 They all have a use but the rotary set up is the one I use the most.
The tied to treble method is good if your fishing in holes in weed where you dont want the bait to moove too much and last but by no means least the cd rig offers free running properties and is probably the best I. Your fishing over shelves as the float helps keep everything right up in the water

In reply to Post #1000 I use the rotary set up when fishing float paternoster. I use it on rivers with flow or with popped up baits for everything else.
