ledgered livey

the poly ball is a bit big a half a wine cork is plenty, its just to keep the fish moving and not sat on the bottom

the ring used is too small to use in the real world i normally use some split ring that are about 15mm in diameter with a big bead as the stop.

ledgered dead
instead of the mono link you may use a boom longer link, link with cork to help raise the line off the bottom etc

the link doesnt need to be longer you can use a short length and sleeve it some people do that as it helps them avoid tangles. i cant do that without it tangling so i use one longer

second one i take it you mean the ledgered livebait rig with a swivel inbetween the two red bits of braid, both need to be wire its to stop the bait swimming over your mainline

Hi,2 questions on these rigs. The top rig.. what length should the line connecting to the weight have to be ? As in should the weight hang lower or higher than the bait?

And in the lower rig, after the trace there's a small line that stops the weight sliding to far, should I just use normal 15lb line here or wire?

Hope this makes sense haha

Thanks
