corkscrew swivels bud. can't be any simpler. just slide the trace on and push a rubber bead over the swivel top-simples. very easy to unclip the trace if you have a fish or tackling down. been using them for about 7 years now and never had one break or come off.
normally buy them on ebay in bigger sizes or gardner do them in a size 8 which is a bit small but great for normal tench or barbel.

I used one for a lead clip one time , made a normal cast and forgot to put reel into freespool (doh!) , my lead went for miles :D

had a few come apart?

as they are only a press to open the last thing i want is to have a lure deep in a pikes mouth only for it to clap its mouth on the link and have it open up

I use to use these many years ago when I had the lure and plug fad,but could never get on with them in the winter,(having cold hands didn't help but I have learned since then)with constant changing had a few snap, where it bends over into the eye.no doubt they have improved since I was using them last.these fox ones I bought for the end clip.you twist the swivel from the wire trace around and onto it

End rig clips i wouldnt use anything except stringease stay-locs (lures, baits, fly)
For attaching a bottom end float ,drifter i use any old crap i can get in the local tackle shop.
For weak links on leads a paper clip is king.

as I have more rods this season, looking to keep them set up instead of breaking them down after each session, have bought a few packets of clips to take the wire trace of and on,but want some clips to change from a float to a drifter float or a weak link for a leger, but cant seem to find any that look like they would do the job,any ideas?
